Design Process

Step 1: Explore

Welcome to Flourish Florals & Events! Take a look around, browse our work, and get a feel for our floral style. We create thoughtfully designed florals for weddings and special events throughout Central Kentucky and beyond, from personal flowers and simple arrangements to full-service ceremony and reception florals.

Step 2: Inquire

Ready to start planning? Complete the Inquiry Form on our Contact page with a few details about your event, including your date, venue, floral needs, color palette, and overall vision. This gives us what we need to check availability and begin putting together ideas for your flowers.

Step 3: Let's Talk Flowers

Once we’ve reviewed your inquiry, we’ll connect to learn more about what you have in mind. Depending on your event and floral needs, this may be through email, phone, or a consultation.

We’ll talk through your inspiration, priorities, venue, colors, floral preferences, and budget while helping you determine what will make the biggest impact for your day.

Step 4: Your Custom Floral Proposal

Using everything we’ve discussed, we’ll create a customized floral proposal for your event. Your proposal will outline the arrangements and floral elements we recommend, along with pricing and the overall design direction.

From bouquets and boutonnieres to ceremony installations, centerpieces, and statement pieces, every proposal is tailored to your celebration rather than built from a one-size-fits-all package.

Step 5: Reserve Your Date

Once you’re happy with your proposal and ready to move forward, we’ll send your contract and invoice. Your date is officially reserved once your signed contract and non-refundable retainer are received.

From there, we’ll continue refining the details as your plans come together.

Step 6: Final Details

As your event approaches, we’ll confirm your final floral quantities, colors, design details, timeline, delivery and setup information, and any other logistics we need for the day.

We know plans can evolve throughout the planning process, so there’s plenty of opportunity to communicate with us along the way before final details are due.

Step 7: Event Day

It’s time to enjoy your day! We’ll carefully prepare your flowers and make sure everything arrives fresh, beautiful, and ready for your celebration.

For full-service events, our team will handle the scheduled delivery, installation, and styling of your florals, along with strike or rental pickup when included in your proposal. For delivery or à la carte orders, we’ll make sure you know exactly what to expect for receiving your flowers.

All that’s left for you to do is celebrate.
